What kind of cards can I expect?

It’s our mission at The Paper Pioneers to provide our members (or ‘Pioneers’) with a super-varied range of cards in many different styles. Graphic, illustrative, watercolour, typographic, embellished, photographic… you name it, we’ve got it — after all, variety is the spice of life! All our cards are unique to us, so you won’t find them for sale on the high street, and once we’ve included them in a pack, they will never be included again. Either send all your cards straight away, or save ones you are not quite ready to use and build up a stash for the future, so you’ll never have to do the ‘lunch-break card dash’ again!

Our beautiful planet is a constant source of inspiration for us, so we always print on quality FSC-certified stock. This way, you know that the cards you receive from us aren’t damaging this beautiful big blue ball we call home.

 
 

 
 

So what exactly will be in my box each month?

Each pack contains 4 beautifully designed greetings cards, printed on quality FSC-certified stock. Sometimes we also include a little extra something just for you, to show you some love too. This may be a postcard, some stickers, a badge… we could go on, but we wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise! 

We’re here to help you and – from our research – know that birthday cards are the most useful for you, our lovely members. Because of this, you can be sure each pack will always include at least one birthday card; plus over the course of your membership you’ll receive cards for all occasions, such as weddings, new home, new arrival, congratulations and get well soon, along with those important ‘just because’ cards to send to a long-lost friend or relative, to brighten their day. 

Where possible we try to ensure our cards are multi-purpose, enabling them to be sent for multiple occasions. This ensures that you’ll always have a use for your cards.

 
 

 
 

Where do your cards
come from?

As we’re lucky enough to have two designers in our crew, and all four of us are self-confessed art, design and craft junkies. We’re never without a creative idea… or five! We design most of the cards in-house, but we are also proud champions of independent designers, from both our lovely home city of Bristol and further afield. We’ve got calligraphers, illustrators and graphic artists (to name but a few!) in our little black book, to ensure we keep our boxes bursting with the variety of styles our Pioneers love.

 
 

 
 

How do I cancel my membership?

We’ll obviously be very sad to see you go. However you can cancel your membership any time by simply emailing us at hello@paperpioneers.co.uk. To cancel the current month you’ll need to get in touch by midnight on the 25th. If it’s later than this date we’ll already be printing and prepping the new packs so your cancellation will be in effect for the next month.

 
 

 
 

Are there different membership options?

Whilst we are always beavering away on plans for the future, we truly believe in the power of keeping things simple! So we currently offer just the original Paper Pioneer Pack – delivered to your home/office/shed each month. 

 
 

 
 

How much is postage?

Postage is included within the monthly price, so you won’t find any nasty hidden extras sneaking into the final cost.

 
 

 
 

When will I receive
my cards?

We send our cards out in the first week of every month. You can expect your pack to land with a happy thud on your doormat around 2-5 days following dispatch. 

 
 

 
 

My cards haven't arrived, what do I do?

If your pack hasn’t arrived by the 14th of the month, just drop us a quick message at hello@thepaperpioneers.co.ukand we’ll jump on it straight away.

 
 

 
 

How much does it cost?

The cost for each monthly pack is £9.50. This includes delivery.

 
 

 
 

I've cancelled but would like to re-activate my subscription, what do I do?

We’d love to have you back on-board! Just drop us a message at hello@thepaperpioneers.co.uk and we can do the rest.

 
 

 
 

I’ve changed name or moved house, how do I update my personal details?

Simply get in touch at hello@thepaperpioneers.co.uk and let us know where to send your pack. We’ll need this information before the start of the month to ensure we send it to the right place.
